Weather Forecasting determines the future state of the atmosphere. To determine accurate weather forecasting is a very important problem. Weather Forecasting is the most important issue in the case of the agricultural and industrial sectors. This research presents a literature survey on weather predictions using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Back Propagation models. The research states that ANN is the best approach than traditional and numerical methods in case of prediction of weather forecast. Data mining technique with neural networks gives useful information for weather prediction which reduces cost as compared to other prediction models. This research is mainly explored on neural networks with back propagation approach in case of weather forecasting.
Present Status of Workers in Kalchini Tea Garden: Socio-Economic Perspective: [PP 10 - 18]
Tea plantation in India has been developed and flourished in regions like Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar districts of West Bengal state, some districts in Assam, Mysore and Nilgiris in Karnataka. The Tea industry of India has provided employment for a large number of people.In West Bengal, the Adivasi and Nepali workers all along formed the majority of the work force of this industry. The present paper deals with the socio-economic condition of tea-garden workers in Kalchini Tea Garden of Kalchini block in newly formed Alipurduar district of West Bengal state. Based on mainly primary sources of information, this study explores the problems faced by the workers and suggests some measures to improve their condition socially and economically. For the primary survey, about 110 workers of Kalchini tea garden were interviewed during the May-June months of 2021. The study reveals that workers are lagging behind in terms of education, per capita income, health conditions, and opportunities for employment generation in different sectors of this area. As the northern part of the state of West Bengal is getting more importance in tourism map of India due to tea, forest, mountains and scenic beauties, thus there is huge scope for the Kalchini tea garden to attract tourists and develop as a major tea tourism center of the country which will create more possibilities to increase the economic condition of local people.

Our Present study “Worker status in different aspects in jagatballavpur block, Howrah”. A Study on 15 villages of Jagatballavpur Block is the outcome of my survey on workers in the area. All Data regarding the Topic have been collected during the Course of my survey and accounts mainly of Secondary data sources. In their Report, I have tried to give a brief account of the Changing Social Worker Status and empowerment of members of Rural areas and Literacy Rate. For which I have chosen my Living area. I have tried to show their Status and in progress different fields like Education, Standard of Living, Self-Dependence and Work participation Rate etc. My Paper is based on Qualitative as well as Quantitative technique. The Study seeks to highlight that the Structural changes in the Rural Society has been the Low and declining worker Population Ratio(WPR) of Male and Female in Rural areas over the last Two or Three Decades. This is an issue of serious concern in a period of Rapid economic growth.
Socio- Economic Development of Bolpur – A Special Case Study on Ruppur Tribal Village: [PP 33 - 48]
The present study attempts to analyze the socio-economic condition of rural people and tribes also and future prospect of rural tourism in Birbhum District, West Bengal, India. Visva Bharati is a Central University and its campus includes both Santiniketan and Sriniketan. It is a well-developed area and its effect spread to the surrounding catchment area. In the catchment area there are some tribal villages which depend on Visva Bharati to some extent. In Birbhum district there are many tribal villages. Tribals are a primitive and underdeveloped community of the society. They are guided by their own rules, customs, regulations, and rituals. Present paper discusses the rural livelihood & tribal villages in case of employment generation, educational and cultural development. This paper also highlights the future prospect of rural sustainable tourism based on santals villages. Socio- economic infrastructural developments of rural people & santal people have been analyzed in this work.
Clay Doll Making Industry in Ghurni, West Bengal: Revisiting the Status during Covid Period: [PP 49 - 56]
Indian Handicrafts is famous for its aesthetic value, vibrancy of colors, a mixture of traditionalism and modernization, region specific ideas and artistry. In Ghurni, located in Krishnanagar city of the state of West Bengal, the clay doll making industry has created its specific identity all over the globe since the historical past under various political patronages. The easily available water from Jalangi River and its alluvial soil helped the industry to flourish in this place and made the clay doll a unique expression of culture, tradition and heritage of the country. This paper aims to find out the present condition of the clay doll making industry in Ghurni with special emphasis on the making process. Based on both primary and secondary sources of information, this study also opens up wide scope for further research through identifying some major socio-economic possibilities of this industry and suggesting that this eco-friendly industry offers numerous opportunities to the holistic development of the region.
