It is with great pride and pleasure that I write as the Principal of Bijoy Krishna Girls' College, Howrah, a college with its humble beginning under the tutelage of a visionary Sri Bijoy Krishna Bhattacharya in 1st August 1947 blossomed into the largest girls' college of the country.
We want to prepare our students physically, mentally, morally, intellectually and socially for their lives in the world today not only as teachers but also as friends, philosophers and guides.
