History of the Department: The department of Statistics started in our college in 2006 as general courses. The first faculty member of the department is Mr. J. Paul and continuously serving here. 

Vision:

To grow students’ capability in Statistical analysis or data analyses we have here developed their knowledge and build confidence. In the present era data analysis is becoming very essential. So we are encouraging all the students to understand the importance of statistical learning and growing interest in learning statistics and probability. Here we try to develop their basic concept in statistical analysis graphically and mathematically both. So, that they can improve their carrier with other subject combination likes mathematics, computer science, etc. Clear knowledge of Statistics will help them to learn other subjects too. Statistics are everywhere in every field of study, so our goal is to grow at least basic Statistical knowledge to our students.
