History-

Music Department was initiated in the month of August 2006 as per the reconmendations of NAAC 2005. At that time faculties are Supriyo Chattopadhyay, Mom Ghosal and Dibyendu Sekhar Ray, and students strength were 20 in the year 2006.

Music Department  currently offers 3years general course at the under graduate level.

Vision and Mission:

Music for all's mission is to create  provide and expand positively life changing experiences through music for all. we believe that music and arts education and must be available to all students. Music for all in an advocate for music and arts education.

Our vision is built on our belief that music learning works best when young people are making music, and when their existing passion for all musical perpose.

secondly music therapy is inevitable for improving the mental illness.

Mission :

To educate, develop & inspire students to achieve their full musical potential & provide them the skills for livelong enjoyment of music.

The department of music is committed to the highest standards of musicianship by working with highly experienced faculty combining innovative and individualised programmes to meet the needs of our students and families thereby contributing to their musical success.

Notable Alumni :

Blind student Shila Patra roll no. 4843 in the year 2007-08.

Future Plan:

We want to do various workshops and seminar for enhancing the knowledge of our students about music & enriched our Department by taking honours course also
